George Orwell
"1984" was written by George Orwell in the late 40s. The story is about totalitarianism where people are being watched by the government to control their actions everywhere. Policemen spy on citizens through tv disobliged their wills to do things. Winston Smith, the protagonist is a member of the governmental party in London, Oceania. ("1984," n.d.) he novel started when the protagonist felt frustrated by the way the government handled things especially free thoughts and love. As Winston was involves with the government, he has an aversion of the government furtively done felonious things such as writing his thoughts in the diary. As the story advances, he met a girl called Julia and conjectures that she is a spy from the government to turn himself in for his crimes. ("1984," n.d.)
