Dictatorship
Dictatorship is defined as an autocratic form of government system which the country is ruled by an individual ( Dictatorship, Wikipedia, 2013). The term dictatorship came from the Latin title-Dictator, which in the Roman empire designated a temporary magistrate who was granted extraordinary powers in order to deal with state crises. Dictator gains political power through resort to force or fraud, they maintain their power through terrifying the crowd. In the Soviet era, everyone thought it was good under Joseph Stalin’s control, the idea of communism was slowly change through Stalin’s control. In the book, Orwell set Stalin’s as Napoleon, probably because Orwell thought that he was a great leader. Orwell wrote in the book that Napoleon changed the 7 commandments to take advantage. Metaphorically, the animal confessions in the book were referred to the three trials in Soviet Union.
